Ofsted Inspection - Isis graded Good

Isis achieves grade 2, (Good) from the Ofsted Inspection conducted over four days in March 2010

During its recent inspection against the new Common Inspection Framework, Ofsted recognised the strengths and high quality provision that Isis gives to both its learners and employers.

Below are some of the main findings:

• Prompt completion of learner course, reflecting excellent support by Isis
• Regular reviews to progress learning and support learners
• High quality of apprentice work and standard of NVQ portfolios
• Close links with employers and schools including innovative and fun events
• Good self-assessment process and action plans
• Involvement of learners in improvement activity and the gathering of employer views.
